Two Buccheri Vases by Gio Ponti and by the great Artisan Carlo Alberto Rossi.
The bucchero is a special clay, from the Etruscan times, was dried in open air and ,after baked in oven at very high temperature,which removes oxygen and transformed clay into ferrous-oxide,which is a "paste" integrally black-glossy-thin.
They were last shown at IX Triennale di Milano 1951.
They are approx. 28 cm height Perfect condition with a stamped certificate of authenticity from the Ponti Archive
