artist statement
Whilst I am primarily a painter, I have worked in the creative industry for over twenty years. I studied illustration at Falmouth School of Art, and have been represented by global agents Debut Art for my mixed media digital illustration work.
My work is largely inspired from living on the Gower peninsula, as well as having a close family history with the sea. My seascapes are representative of the ever changing ocean, vast horizons and the untamed wilderness of the beaches and cliffs. Textures and colours, weather worn, the streaks of quartz in beach pebbles, and the jewelled depths of rock pools. I paint from my studio at home in Mumbles, Gower and my work can be found in private collections.
