Kristi is a UK-based artist whose work bridges the realms of realism and surrealism. Working from her studio in Greater Manchester, she draws inspiration from the surrounding nature and the emotional depth of human experience.
Educated at the Milan Art Institute, Kristi has developed her skills in mixed media and oil painting, creating vibrant and captivating pieces that often feature symbolic imagery like koi fish, birds, and celestial motifs.
Kristi’s passion for art began in childhood, where she used drawing to express the beauty and stories she saw in the world around her. Her work reflects a journey of self-discovery and resilience, exploring themes of identity, transformation, and inner strength.
Subtle fragmented elements, like pixelations, appear in her paintings as a nod to the modern world’s distractions but ultimately serve to highlight the pursuit of clarity and wholeness.
Infused with a touch of magic and fantasy, her pieces invite viewers to experience a sense of wonder and to connect with the extraordinary within everyday life.
Kristi’s art has been exhibited in London and is held in private collections, offering viewers a chance to engage with life’s possibilities and the enchantment found in ordinary moments.
Artist Statement
“My earliest memories are filled with sketches and a sense of wonder at the beauty in everyday details.
Using mixed media and oils, my work explores both personal and universal themes, blending fantasy with real-life imagery to bridge the visible and invisible worlds. Each piece begins with a feeling or idea, evolving through layered textures and symbolic elements to evoke emotion.
Drawn to contrasts – light and dark, strength and vulnerability – I seek to inspire people to find beauty within these contrasts and reflect on their own experiences.
Subtle fragments are incorporated to reflect modern challenges like distraction and the search for clarity, ultimately inviting a journey toward wholeness.
My art is a journey of self-discovery, encouraging viewers to reconnect with themselves and discover the magic in everyday life.” – Kristi
